Living in a Dream

Sometimes I just think too much

Update from the rain forest

Nature is trying very hard to make us succeed, but nature does not depend on us. We are not the only experiment.

Well thank the gods that it is finally done and over with. Christmas I mean. πŸ˜› Now all that is left is cleaning up the tree, packing up the decorations for year long storage, and tons of left overs. πŸ™‚ I’m partial to the left overs myself and this year should be just as good as I remember from last year.

I am now extremely anxious for the weather to clear up (knowing full well that it won’t until April) so that I can take my Martin Jaguar bow out to the gravel pit and start practicing. I think Lyo got it for me so that I would be more inclined to go out target shooting with him. πŸ˜€ But I can look past that. Actually there is a place just up the street from us where we might be able to go for practice sessions if there isn’t a gate. ~happy dance~ Otherwise it is a 1/2 an hour trek to the next spot. 😦 Not especially worth it considering we’re only out there for maybe 45 minutes. ~shrugs~

The battle between me and the Health Insurance Giant continues on. I did actually hear from them on Christmas day, but it was to a back up email I sent when I wasn’t getting a response from them. But other than that…there has been nothing. I’m not sure if they are just ignoring me or if a decision is still being debated. I’ll be getting in touch with them later today to find out. But I’m not holding my breath.

I also found out that Madre discovered that I got married, but the good news is she hasn’t figured out where I live…yet. I’m not sure if she ever will, but I’ll have to start making plans to keep her out of my home. I’m not overtly a bitch, but I do sneak around in the shadows. πŸ™‚

All in all a decent end to the holiday season. I didn’t go down the Black Hole, Lyo and I continued the tradition of watching A Christmas Story together (does anyone else think that the kid in line for Santa is creepy?), and we both got a little of what we wanted for presents.

Not bad at all. πŸ˜€
